348 LED solar streetlights were installed and powered by four DREAM power stations, three in Marsabit and one in Moyale. The maintenance of these street lights were made easy and effective because the batteries and solar panels were put in one place therefore making it possible to monitor the street lights from a remote location.
Today, the street lights have aided in increased working hours and therefore aiding the community to significantly add to the 24 hour Kenya economy. Security has also increased in Marsabit County and therefore residents can walk freely at night.
