15 Jul THE LITTLE DREAM BOX NOW POWERING 138 HEALTH FACILITIES IN HOMABAY COUNTY
Following the success of the Kobuya Dispensary, Mbita Sub-County pilot project in Homa Bay, where the Little DREAM Box was installed to provide lighting and powering of the dispensary’s needs, Homa Bay County Government entrusted DREAM to power more healthcare facilities in the county which used kerosene and torches as a back-up for unreliable lighting. This is a project supported by funding from the World Bank through the Homa Bay Health Department.
Homa Bay county launched an RFP and DREAM won the contract to supply 174 LDB units with a customized fixed rooftop installation kit to power 138 health centers and dispensaries across the county to either provide proper backup or independent lighting while powering any equipment that is within the required capacity.
Reliable energy supply plays a vital role in the provision of quality healthcare services and the reduction of mortality rates, especially in remote areas. Powering Healthcare is one of DREAM’s strategic pillars. From high-quality plug-and-play solar products to custom hybrid solar systems for rural clinics.
DREAM has reliable and cost-effective solutions for all levels of the healthcare sector. In 2017, DREAM delivered a sustainable Solar PV solution to Dandu Community Life Centre, Mandera County and in 2019 DREAM further expanded to three projects in Makueni County.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking
what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it?
:P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it
by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate
any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the
coronavirus scare!
